Odyssey Software
With headquarters in Federal Way, Washington, Odyssey Software began in 1997 as a joint venture between Odyssey Software and Weyerhaeuser Corporation to create and then install a commercial grade software system for the Building Materials Division (wholesale distribution) of Weyerhaeuser. A capital project for Weyerhaeuser funded this activity. The initial release of the Odyssey Product has been created and installed at 75 North American Weyerhaeuser sites. Weyerhaeuser has the right to use and install Odyssey as they choose internally within Weyerhaeuser Company. Odyssey Software and Consulting owns the copyright and the right to continue to develop and market Odyssey as a commercial product. The work of making the Odyssey Software Product commercial ready is under way. Odyssey Software expects to be ready to offer Odyssey to other customers in the fall of 2003.
